I did this on my livingroom wall. Total time was about 10 hours. I've created a four minute long work video of the whole thing, watch it here.

Actually, it was a PERFECT picture for what I had in mind - so I'm very pleased that you liked it. I did mess up my reference grid a little bit (doh), so your face ended up a bit different than in the image - the drawing looks a bit more mean and long faced because of that.

Ink markers.

Sketched the portraits up first with soft pencils, though.
